The once-lush Mediterranean coast has transformed into salt flats and dry riverbeds, with endless plains of cracked earth and wind-carved rock formations. The people of Ibera have built impressive settlements that adapt to their environment - some carved into canyon walls, others as mobile communities with dome-tents made of smart-fabric, and ambitious projects in the ruins of pre-Collapse cities where skyscrapers have been wrapped in vertical gardens.

The Iberians are known for their ingenuity - farmers who coax life from barren soil using ancient techniques and salvaged pre-Collapse technology, and master technicians who revive long-dead machines. Their scouts are legendary sharpshooters who can blend seamlessly with the harsh landscape. They've successfully defended themselves against the Prime AI's repeated attempts to conquer them.

IXA

Ixa is the post-Collapse name for the South American continent, where ancient cultures have been reborn in the aftermath of apocalypse. This region is dominated by three major powers: the Sunstone Empire, the Condor Kingdom, and the Serpent Dynasty.

The Sunstone Empire rules from the Obsidian Citadel built on ruins of what was once a sprawling utopian city. They harness solar power through massive collectors, and have a brutal meritocracy where advancement often comes through blood. High in the Andes, the Condor Kingdom has tamed giant mutated condors as scouts and guardians, with terraced farms fed by runoff from ancient mines.

The Serpent Dynasty, ruling from deep in the Amazon rainforest, controls a vast cloning facility unlike any other in the Americas. The Serpent AI, steeped in South American mythology, oversees "The Serpent's Cradle" - a cloning facility shaped like a stepped pyramid of gleaming metal and pulsing bioluminescent vines.
